You can easily connect to PVC fittings, leaving behind the cast iron pipes used for lead pipes.
In renovation work, PVC pipes can be connected while leaving the lead pipes for drainage cast iron pipes in place. Additionally, by using an adapter flange, connections to PVC pipes and bellows pipes can be made without leaving any lead pipes.
